The idea of this blog comes from Matthew 6:11, “Give us today our daily bread.” In the Bible, the matter of each day is very significant. The phrase day by day comes up a number of times in the entire Bible, and specifically in Matthew, I was touched that the Lord told his disciples even to pray for their daily needs. Of course, we all have physical needs, like food and clothes, but also spiritually we need the Lord to supply us daily.
The purpose of this blog is an opportunity for me to share with all of you what “bread” the Lord gave me for the day. Then it’s not just my daily bread but OUR daily bread.
